Internship Opportunities
The Historic New Orleans Collection welcomes students in accredited undergraduate or graduate degree programs to apply for internship opportunities ranging from aspects of museum, archives, and library management and development to collections care and interpretive study. While the internships are unpaid, students frequently receive college credit for their work.
Williams Research Center Interns
The Williams Research Center, as part of its commitment to the education of future information specialists, encourages interns, especially students pursuing graduate degrees. The internships provide an excellent experience for students in library science, archival studies, and the humanities, especially southern history and art history.
Museum Interns
Museum management, publications and marketing, educational outreach, exhibition preparation, and institutional development are all areas of internship opportunity within The Collection’s museum operations. To apply, please e-mail your resume to the Human Resources Department.
