Abstract : 1725. New Orleans. Register of burials in New Orleans, relating to 97 persons interred "in the cemetery of this parish [city]." In rare cases, Father Raphael registers deaths which occurred elsewhere, such as Natchez "where there was no priest yet." The majority of the deceased are between twenty and thirty years old.
