No change: green. This and the neighboring building at 622-26 St. Ann were constructed c. 1840 by the Wardens of the Church of St. Louis. Of stuccoed brick composition, this pair of double buildings originally was divided by a central passageway (as still exists on this building). #628-630 was owned briefly in 1925-26 by the wife of Sherwood Anderson [Elizabeth Prall] and later by preservation activist Elizabeth T. Werlein.
