Curator Camp

A weeklong summer program for teens eager to learn about what goes on behind the scenes at museums

Have you always wanted to go behind the scenes at a museum? Do you get excited by history, art, artifacts, or storytelling? Then Curator Camp is for you! Through daily hands-on workshops, Curator Camp teens explore the skills and ideas that bring history and museums to life, at HNOC and at other French Quarter museums. No experience is necessary. Just bring your curiosity! (We’ll bring the snacks.)

Curator Camp is open to kids ages 12 to 17. Tuition is $250 per participant and includes lunch and snacks. If the tuition rate is a barrier to you attending, please let us know. We are happy to provide a sliding scale rate.
