Restore, Renew, Reimagine Campaign

In 2023, the Historic New Orleans Collection began a bold campaign to enrich our visitor experience and encourage economic investment across the French Quarter, while strengthening our position as a cornerstone for the neighborhood’s museums.

The project? A transformational multi-year effort to renew, restore, and reimagine seven historic buildings and five courtyards anchored by our original museum at 533 Royal Street.

When completed, the buildings and courtyards will house gallery spaces dedicated to our shared history, public event spaces, and an educational facility ensuring our region’s culture and heritage are passed on to the next generation.
