Sensory-Friendly Saturdays

Exploration and hands-on learning for neurodiverse guests and their families

About

A young child with blonde hair, wearing a light blue shirt, is smiling and touching a display with a brown, furry object at a museum. There is a brochure holder titled Nutria for Home Use next to the display. Light streams through a window behind them.

Can’t make it to a Sensory-Friendly Saturday? Check out our Sensory Inclusive bags, which are available anytime at the front desk in our Welcome Center at 520 Royal Street. These bags are filled with items that can help lessen sensory overload, including headphones, fidgets, and visual cue cards.
