Atlanta Magazine Names HNOC Among New Orleans Destinations with Global Flavor

“Considering the Vietnamese community’s pervasive influence on the city, it’s fitting that New Orleans is commemorating the 50th anniversary of the fall of Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City) with not one, but two cultural exhibitions. The Historic New Orleans Collection, located in the French Quarter, launched Making It Home: From Vietnam to New Orleans (through October 5), featuring interviews with Vietnamese elders about their difficult journeys to America. It also displays a recently acquired treasure trove of photos by Louisiana documentarian Mark J. Sindler that capture the first decade of resettlement.”
